Shirts for taller women

I'm on the tall side (5'10") and absolutely sick of shirts with sleeves that are too short for me. I recently got an M&S tencel shirt which was OK (just about) but after one gentle wash it's shrunk so that, yet again, I can't move my arms without the sleeve sliding halfway up to my elbow.

Can anyone recommend somewhere to buy shirts for taller women? Wider shoulders and longer arms are the key things I need (I'm a size 10, but athletic build on my top half due to the sports I do).

  • Natural fibres only
  • Smart casual style, e.g. something you'd wear over jeans, rather than crisp and ironed for a client meeting

Just to follow up - I have tried buying shirts that are described as "oversized". Those do fit in the arms/shoulders etc, but totally swamp me in the body, to a comical degree.

Boden do some longer length shirts which are very good (I am 5'11'', so same problem!). I've got three linen shirts from Boden which I love, and are perfect for smart casual.

That sounds like exactly what I'm looking for - I'll check them out

I buy men's slim fit shirts (or rather steal them from DH), though as I'm not as tall as you I have to roll the sleeves up even in the middle of winter. Zara men slim fit have a nice shape for me - proportionally bigger shoulders/boobs to waist and as a size 10 I can wear a small or medium depending on the look I want. If you're not bothered by 2nd hand you can pick new/like new ones up on Vinted for a few pounds.

I'm only 5'8", but with a disproportionately long back and didd legs (the guy who built my bike, and my physio say I should be 6' or so with a torso that length). Anyway, this is my perennial problem, particularly since Gap stopped doing so much in Tall.

My best "long" shirt is an oversized boyfriend shirt from Crew Clothing in a size down. Long but not massively baggy.
