What colour shoes/bag with this dress.

I have bought this dress for a friend's wedding but not sure what colour accessories to go for. Black doesn't look right and that's my go to colour! Any suggestions?

You're right, definitely not black, but if that's your comfort zone then a dark blue would be really fine.

Op, pick out any of the secondary colours in the dress!

If you really want to wear your black shoes, complement with a black clutch and maybe black earrings. This may work if they are strappy black sandals like in the pic (but black!) since plenty of flash to balance out the black. However, it probably won’t work!

Take the dress with you and look for accessories that are one of the other colours in the it..

any color that fits with the flowers on the dress - you could have a handbag in one, and the shoes in another.

Gorgeous dress. I'd go with white , nude or silver as pp suggested. Because any of those would prob go with a multitude of other outfits too.

I agree with @Rubiesue definitely pick up on one of the other colours and I'd go with shoes and bag in that colour. Beautiful dress too.

What do you think of these? I don't want anything too high as I'm quite tall.

going to need quite delicate shoes to look right with a floaty dress like that (it’s lovely, btw, really pretty). I’d go for a strappy sandal or a slingback at the most. And either a dark colour or a pale neutral rather than something bright that would compete with the dress.

The dark red shoes in your post would go well and perhaps a bag in a similar colour. Not too bright to fight with the dress but toning in well
