I love these designs. But not exactly affordable! I used to love Past Times as they had lovely jewellery in the style of different eras, I think Tudor was a firm favourite.

Any retailers that do more (ahem!) affordable versions that anyone has come across?

Sorry, link doesn't work at all. They were Etienne style earrings from Shyla.

Some of these are quite Indian in design.

Try:

The earrings you link to are quite Deco in style so try searching for Deco earrings on ebay or etsy and you might well get an original at a far more affordable price. Bear in mind that many originals will have clip or screw backs but that a reputable jeweller can convert for pierced ears with wires or studs - I've had several converted over the years including a gogeous pair of enamelled deco drops.

I walk past Berganza on the days I go in to the office.

faretheewell · 30/09/2022 23:03

Thanks, everyone!😃 I'll be busy making a wish list...

@willowstar, wow! I think I'd have a job walking past!! Those antiquities are museum pieces!

@faretheewell I love the Berganza website. My engagement ring was from there :)

faretheewell · 01/10/2022 08:28

@Binkybix, oh how lovely! Mine's from Birmingham jewellery quarter but I like to think it wouldn't look out of place on the Berganza site - just love the jewellery on there.

Have a look at these, the jeweller Sangeeta Naidoo has a small business and her stuff looks even better in the flesh. She uses semi precious stones and does plated as well as gold or silver
