Critique my at home facial

Hi! Had a lovely facial with espa recently. Wanted to recreate the same at home. I've bought some of the products they used on me as I liked them and know they suited my skin. Does this sound about right in terms of what I'm planning to do at home / order and use of the products? My skin is mostly dry but oily chin thanks to recently starting on the pill. Forehead is bumpy texture, needs some TLC.

Mostly looking for advice on the actual routine rather than products. Thanks!

1.cleanse with this balm www.espaskincare.com/yuzu-and-ginger-cleansing-sorbet/12636568.html

  1. Cleanse again with this one www.espaskincare.com/optimal-skin-pro-cleanser/12595872.html this can be used as exfoliator / mask too, should I leave in on for 5min?
  1. Tone with www.espaskincare.com/hydrating-floral-spa-fresh-tonic/12226485.html
  1. Steam - hot water and towel, 5 min
  1. Mask - www.espaskincare.com/isotonic-hydration-mask/12595882.html leave for 10 min, remove with damp cloth.

5 - should I use a serum now? I have Estée Lauder advanced night repair?

6 - then a nice thick moisturiser?

Thanks!!

Hopeful bump as I literally have no clue!

Exfoliate after toning and then what I normally do after steaming is take a damp flannel and firmly rub it over any areas with large pores. And if I was doing my own facial I’d have a good squeeze of the pores on my nose (but you probably don’t have pores like mine!).

After the mask you’d normally do a massage.

Looks good OP. I personally would do balm cleanse, cream cleanse including leaving if for 5 mins, steam, then toner, the hydrating mask and yes a serum followed by (personally) a light moisturiser. Daily though you just want to cleanse, serum, moisturise (one that includes an SPF!). I would only cleanse with a balm day to day if I was wearing heavy make up.

Please do not firmly rub your face or squeeze your pores! Treat your face gently!

Thank you both!!

I would tone after you steam or exfoliate. The toner helps your other products absorb and hydrates you skin, I wouldn't hydrate then wash it off. 🙏

Enjoy!!!

Thanks! I'm looking forward to it, as is my bank balance!!!

Haha they do a gorgeous serum, the super hydrating one. I would ditch the toner and buy the serum and oil instead but that's just me 😆

I don't know that brand but your spa idea looks wonderful and it's tempted me. I shall look into this brand!
