Beauty advent 22 part 2 (massive spoilers)

I don't know the etiquette of starting a runover of someone else's thread. I hope this is OK.

Reminder advent22 gives a hand-wash and handcream free gift on space nk.

I bought it, but now I have alight regret. I should have held out to see what harrods had.

The CEO cream wasn't 5oz as had been trailed on many calendar sites, but 0.5oz, 15ml. 5oz would have been a ridiculous size so that makes sense.

@polmnlj not this year. NAP, along with other calendars, seem to do a few good years then have a bad one while hoping loyal customers forgive and forget, and buy.

I am rather tempted by Sephora though 😬. Looks really good value for the price, and no gua sha stone or rubbish like that.

I think mine came early Nov last year. I wouldn't want it too early as it's absolutely huge.

Well thanks for the tip about JL calendar everyone - I wasn't going to open it yet as it is planned as a Jadvent (or maybe event a Fadvent) - but I decided I had better do so (sigh) - discovered that my candle is chipped in two places! grrrr.

Now not only have I got to chase that up, I also know what's in the last day. Not very good.

I’ve also been very tempted by the Sephora advent calendar and looking for offers. It seems to be excluded from all discount codes etc. I did though find one thing which works - if you select Sephora as one of your two “brand for life” options, you get 10% off, which brings the price down to £125.

I've ordered my teen daughter the Glossybox calendar after a lot of looking. 10% cashback via Topcashback at the moment just for their AC, as well as a 10% discount when you buy with a VCADVENT code, so that whacks about £20 quid off altogether.

So, Harrods calendar is released tomorrow. Anybody going for it? I think it’s good, but not the amazing calendar of last year. Doubt it will sell out as quickly, but will be interesting to see.

No....I think it is a lovely calendar with some different products from well known brands/staples of advent calendars. Not for me this year.

The annual 525g Niederegger Marzipan calendar has finally appeared. Just ordered for my husband who loves them and it's a lovely treat for him every year. They always sell out.

I don’t know if it’s of any interest but Brandalley has last year’s The Body Shop advent calendar for £69 instead of £140. If you’re new to Brandalley, you can usually get £15 off your first order. I’m contemplating this for my soap-dodging teen DD.

H&B doesn't appeal to me this year but it's interesting that discounts are starting to appear, as it's been a sell out quite early in the last couple of years (looking on the website it says the discount code is to be used on the app if anyone is tempted).
