Beauty advent 22 part 2 (massive spoilers)

I don't know the etiquette of starting a runover of someone else's thread. I hope this is OK.

Reminder advent22 gives a hand-wash and handcream free gift on space nk.

I bought it, but now I have alight regret. I should have held out to see what harrods had.

The CEO cream wasn't 5oz as had been trailed on many calendar sites, but 0.5oz, 15ml. 5oz would have been a ridiculous size so that makes sense.

I have been known to rummage through, remove the items that I don't like, and replace them with with items that I do like from another calendar 😂

I am regifting some of mine in a refilled ac for a friend. Lots of nice stuff that I want use or I already have. I've been naughty with gwps, boxes and now ACs.

So I have to open.

I'm also going to be away for 20 of the 25 days of advent. So I am going to justify that too 🤣🤣🤣.

I am trying to open slowly. But. You know....

Wow. 20pc off at the beginning of Oct for.liberty?
Elle's preorders also came with 20pc off. 15 quid off John lewis.

Look fantastic offered big deals including beauty bag gwp or big discounts after a couple of weeks.

I cant think of any ACs which have sold out.

There may be even more discounts this year. But i hope it doesn't mean that shops view ACs as unprofitable and reduce the offer in future years.

I know! I was amazed at the 20% cashback off, too, but it definitely tipped me off the fence into picking it over the other calendars I was eyeing up. Can only afford one 'big' Christmas calendar. If I get another one, likely to be M&S.

Just because they hard time shifting it. They reduced it a few times after Christmas and still couldn't sell it. It was still in stock over the summer at a heavily reduced price.

I'm sure that your friend would have enjoyed it. It had some nice products in it. I think the main issue was the sizes. They were changing £100+ as far as I remember, and it was full of minis.

Thinking back, I remember I bought it with a discount and also a GWP of perfume for her. That was what swung it, really.

I'm tempted by look fantastic and like the free gift, also have £5 off for filling in my beauty profile- £90 for both seems reasonable but worried if I buy it now it'll be heavily reduced before Christmas!

I took the plunge! Didn't seem too bad with the £5 off and I'll use everything in the free gift. I do like a lot of the calendar as well, only one or two things I'll gift to friends.

HN now on sale for rewards members. And if you add one more beauty item to your order you’ll qualify for the GWP which is currently still available.

It’s still a no for me, having decided I won’t used the vouchers in store.

I just signed up to Topcashback. It then said Liberty isn’t eligible and took me to the payment page at full price. How do these sites work?

I take it all back. My CB calendar is out for delivery. Mind you, the order qualified for super express delivery so I guess that's why it's so much quicker than previous orders.

Unfortunately, I'm in the office today so dh, who works from him, will be taking it in. If I'm at home I can always catch it without anyone noticing as my office looks out on the drive. Ah well, he's knows I'm worth it😀

Liberty has arrived and all drawers look full. It's lovely and I'm very excited about it but I must say for visual impact and all round festive loveliness F&M is the best one I've had. I'm filling my old one with treats to reuse it.

So as I’m being good about an advent calendar I think I might splurge on a couple of the Cult Beauty Christmas edits. I had two of them last year and they were excellent and used everything (bar a ridiculous gloss highlighter thing that looked like smeared Vaseline!). Hoping this years content might be as good. Glad you are all enjoying your advent arrivals 😊

So tempted by the Liberty cash back deal but I really can’t justify another calendar my drawers are overflowing with product as it is. I really wanted the Harrods fragrance advent but missed out . I was so disappointed I bought myself a discovery box from the perfume society who I have never used before it’s just arrived and it is lovely . Obviously not on the same scale as Harrods but with 8 new perfumes to try for £27 (admittedly some of them are quite small) it looks quite good fun and would make quite good stocking fillers or for those who are making their own advents and want to include some perfumes.
