They've discontinued Estée Lauder DW light

My beloved Double Wear light is no longer. I've been trying to use the normal double wear and just thin it with some moisturiser, but it just isn't the same Sad

Can anyone recommend me a nice, similar to DW light, foundation with great staying power? The great thing about it was the staying power, and although light, had some decent coverage

I also have the added issue of having quite yellow undertones! Not many other foundations other than Estée Lauder are good with yellow shades

I've tried their hydra luminous one I think it's called? But it's too dewy. Which is lovely but it has 0 staying power

Try YSL radiant touché, I used to use DW light but tried the YSL when it came out and never went back.

I'm gutted about this too. I do have a fair stash of it but am running out.

I just bought their Futurist Hydra Rescue Moisturizing Foundation SPF 45 - will try it tomorrow and report back.

I used DW Light for years and I’ve swapped to Clinique Even Better. It’s very similar.

Lancôme teint idole has replaced ELDW light for me

Clinique have really weird shades, sadly I can never find a match. A foundation will be too pale, then the next shade up is ridiculously darker!

I'm afraid that's the one I tried to replace it with. It's gorgeous when first on but just doesn't stay put

Do you powder over the top? Only needs a quick dust but does help.

Stopdropnroll · 22/09/2022 10:09

Yup that's the one

I agree with your review :(

Think I will try the YSL.

No idea why Estee Lauder decided to do away with doublewear light - surely it sold well.
