Heavily pregnant and wanting to live in leggings and jumpers now the cold spell is here but can I find leggings that don’t show my pants in their entirety?! Nope 👎 any suggestions please of where to buy some non see through leggings? In all varieties except workout leggings! Faux leather for autumn yes please, everyday leggings for school run yes please, thick leggings I can dress up yes please. Don’t need to be maternity leggings as want some can wear this winter after give birth too!

Have you tried M&S cosy jeggings? They cling like leggings but are nice and thick ( and have pockets)

Playplayaway · 17/09/2022 10:18

If you can get to a costco they have Max & Mia leggings which are thick and wonderful.

shiningstar2 · 17/09/2022 10:19

M and s leggings.

cliffdiver · 17/09/2022 10:22

I got mine from Next.

NauseousNancy · 17/09/2022 10:23

I love the boden ones. I have tried many, many leggings.

They are soft, cosy, not see through, fitted at the ankle and a nice high waistband.

Nitgel · 17/09/2022 10:23

uniqlo legging trousers

GlitteryFarts · 17/09/2022 10:25

Primark sell fleece lined leggings in the autumn/winter months. Lovely and warm and not see through, high waisted and really supportive to hold a baby bump nicely if you size up. They're £6/7 a pair I think

absolutehush · 17/09/2022 10:30

Love leggings maternity leggings are thick warm and excellent

TheFormidableMrsC · 17/09/2022 10:34

Love Leggings are gorgeous and thick. They have a maternity range.

dontgobaconmyheart · 17/09/2022 11:05

I have some love leggings ones and they are really nice - for the house. I haven't ever found any that I'd actually wear out the house unless the jumper/coat I was wearing covered my bum anyway. Much easier to go down the route of buying longer jumpers or layering a cardigan or jacket/shacket than it is to look for something I'm not convinced exists.

There are leggings much thicker than others but they still show underwear even if it's the lines and sunlight does no favours to any of them.

GettingStuffed · 17/09/2022 11:24

I bought mint velvet ones on a recommendation from here. They're really warm so I keep them for colder days.

TerrazzoChips · 18/09/2022 21:34

Seconding love leggings but I’d pay a little more and get the revitalise ones

I have a few pairs now and they are just as good as my prepregnancy sweaty Betty and lululemon ones but less than half the price.

itsnotmeitsu · 18/09/2022 21:51

I'm another one who recommends the M&S leggings > the exercise ones in animal print. I have two pairs and I use them whenever I'm going to be on a long journey, whether it's going to be in the car or on a plane. They even have pockets 😊

Forpoxsake · 18/09/2022 21:53

Can someone link the M&S leggings please?

MotherOfWhippets · 19/09/2022 07:38

I have been browsing at M&S and found this: https://www.marksandspencer.com/cosy-high-waisted-jeggings/p/clp60550212?intid=mobileappppdpshare

rosettesforjill · 19/09/2022 07:40

Snag have just started doing leggings and they're excellent. Not sure how they would work in pregnancy but I have needed to size down as they're generously cut!

KangarooKenny · 19/09/2022 07:41

Next ponte leggings

DoughNutBabe · 19/09/2022 07:45

Love leggings have the best maternity leggings, thick and warm but still stretchy and cosy.

Baxdream · 19/09/2022 07:56

Next fleece lined leggings are amazing. Unfortunately they don't do them in maternity. But I thought I'd comment anyway as it might help someone else. I'm not sure they'd work if you size up as they'd probably end up baggy on your legs

serafinarose · 19/09/2022 07:56

I loved these from very

These are magic: www2.hm.com/en_gb/productpage.1096711001.html

Soft and super stretchy without being loose. So, so comfortable. I lived in them all through covid.

Mint Velvet - nice high waist and really thick.
I've also got some skirted ones from All Saints which are very cosy.

Pigtailsandall · 19/09/2022 12:42

Another vote for the Sainsbury's leggings linked above. I actually bought them after reading about them here last Christmas and they have been one of my most-worn items
