Princess of Wales' eyelashes (Kate)

I would kill for her eyelashes. Just looking at photos of her today and they are thick and curled.

Are they false?
Are they extensions?
Are they just her own with loads and loads of mascara?

I have very sparse lashes, use Lancome Hypnose but no matter how much I use they will never look like hers.

Why don’t you get extensions?

SheWoreYellow · 16/09/2022 20:16

She probably uses that stuff like Revitalash.

Why don’t you get extensions?

There could be zillions of reasons- like not knowing anything about them!

My question was ARE they extensions or natural or mascara?

They are made from unicorn feathers - she has them grafted on by angels and they are then dusted with titanium.

This is true.

I use Rapidbrow for my eyebrows and a) it works b) takes 6 weeks c) costs almost £30 and doesn't last long and d) if you stop your eyebrows thin out again.

I'm wary of using anything right next to my eyes.

Natural looking extensions I think. I have them and love them!

AngelicaElizaAndPeggy · 16/09/2022 20:19

On a serious note - they might be magnetic. You put magnetic eyeliner on and then they stick to it. I think it looks amazing but am too poor to try.

TastesLikeFlavourlessFizz · 16/09/2022 20:29

Today, in the photo attached, she has neither false lashes nor extensions. Must just be good mascara.

I think you can see in this one that they’re just curled with mascara on. It’s possible she has natural falsies on but I don’t think so. No extensions if she’s wearing mascara.

Could be a lash lift and tint as well to save the hassle of curling daily.

Revitalash was invented by an Opthamologist for his wife who lost her eyelashes through illness.

I use Revitabrow every night -it does take a while and yes you do need to keep on with it and then a maintenence dose - it works really well. The eyelashes I'm not so bothered about but I do have Revitalash but not such a regular user .Though if I am dilegent the results are great .

Mummyoflittledragon · 16/09/2022 20:37

It’s fine to wear mascara with certain types of eyelash extensions so these could easily be extensions.

Sally99 · 16/09/2022 20:39

I'm a big Kate fan. maybe they are natural? When I was her age mine were really long and dense but have disappeared with age sadly

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 16/09/2022 20:40

I don't think killing someone because someone else has nice eyelashes would be a particular sound defense if you end up in court. As I think you would.

Note: I am not a lawyer

Sunbun19 · 16/09/2022 20:47

If you look at old photos of her she does have very long natural lashes

Jellywobblescobbles · 16/09/2022 20:51

Maybe she has some natural false eyelashes applied if she has her makeup applied professionally? Lashify look amazing but expensive.

BashfulClam · 16/09/2022 21:00

I have similar natural lashes so
thet could be all hers. I wear lengthening mascara to make them really dramatic and often get asked if my lashes are real. Kate may do they same just wear a mascara to make them look really long.

I must reiterate this. TRUTH.

JaceLancs · 16/09/2022 21:20

I think she has them perma curled - possibly a few individual ones put on and then used a good mascara

Don’t worry you’re not missing out. They’re absolutely shite.

Teenyliving · 16/09/2022 21:28

She is undoubtedly very beautiful- I suspect her lashes are just good mascara. Otherwise I think it would be dramatically obvious when she didn’t have extensions maybe?

ive always been suprised by how much blush she always seems to wear at big events - it looks absolutely layered on - would it look too much close up but necessary for pictures etc??

LynetteScavo · 16/09/2022 21:38

DD has lashes like that, and they are not the ones she was born with.

Bunny2021 · 16/09/2022 21:44

I think she probably has a lash lift and maybe some individual ones just added on with her make up. I’ve had that done when I’ve had professional make up done before. You can’t tell their fake but in photos they just add some more volume.
