Can you recommend a tinted moisturiser?

Just that really. My usual daytime look consists of mascara and eyebrow pencil (still suffering from the over-plucking craze of the early 00’s). I’ve recently tried a sample of Estée Lauder Daywear tinted moisturiser although can’t really afford the full-sized version. I like the fact it appears to adapt to my skin tone (the product is the same colour as the bottle). Can anyone recommend a good, slightly more affordable tinted moisturiser?
If it helps, I’m early thirties with an oily T-zone, Caucasian (quite pale with dark brown hair) and don’t need loads of coverage for daytime/casual wear.
thank you.

I really like this www.boots.com/no7-hydraluminous-aquarelease-skin-perfector-10288699

I’ve tried a lot but this is my favourite of the more affordable options. I use it most days.

I fancy trying this one, do you use it instead of foundation?

Thank you so much for all of your opinions. Silly question: can anybody explain the difference between BB and CC creams? I assume they both have more coverage than a tinted moisturiser?

I use the Nivea one, have done for years. I'm very pale.

Yes. I use my normal moisturiser first and then this. No foundation.

SushiSuave · 17/09/2022 20:42

BB = Beauty Balm, CC = Colour Corrector (so usually more coverage/thicker than BB).

ShirleyJackson · 17/09/2022 20:48

Another vote for Erborian CC cream in Clair. Genius product.

Madamecastafiore · 17/09/2022 20:51

Pericone MD do a moisturiser which adapts to your skin tone and has SPF 30. It's really nice.

Discodreams · 17/09/2022 21:02

Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser here. Been wearing it for years and won’t touch anything else now

Pigtailsandall · 17/09/2022 21:08

I'm totally won over by nars too. It lasts ages too and is just wonderful. I had the Laura Mercier one before but the consistency of nars is just a notch above

Bananabreakfast123 · 17/09/2022 21:20

Another vote for origins. I prefer it to foundation now. Colour adapts really well and gives a nice light even finish.

FredaFox · 18/09/2022 14:42

Loving these suggestions and might try a different one though I do like my nars

GrimDamnFanjo · 18/09/2022 18:56

How about the Ultra Violette foundation? It's spf50 and has a wide range of colours?

Luredbyapomegranate · 18/09/2022 19:06

Laura Mercier - yet to be bettered IMO

Nah you see I tried Nars, found it a bit too runny and went back to LM.

When you want to look especially done OP put it on with a foundation brush. Bobbi Brown especially good, but Boots is grand.

Following - needing a good tinted moisturiser. Glad I came across this 😀

woodpigeon123 · 02/10/2022 00:05

The votes for the Erborian…. Are they for the BB or CC?

Mookie81 · 02/10/2022 00:30

If you find Erborian CC cream too heavy, they do a CC water which is lighter. I have it in Caramel, its great.

LoveMyPiano · 02/10/2022 00:47

Boots No7 City Light Tinted Moisturiser is lovely for light coverage.
Max Factor Skin (with Hyaluronic Acid) is actually a foundation, but very natural coverage.
Also, Vichy Lumineuse - couldn't see it in Boots, but is on Amazon.

Fashionnamechange · 13/03/2023 10:42

Tinted moisturiser This is by far the best that I have ever used. It's not cheap but absolutely worth it. I never use. foundation, I have worn it for about 15 years and still get complements about my skin. I buy it from Space NK and they are usually good with samples. Its fabulous!

Fashionnamechange · 13/03/2023 10:45

My apologies op I just read that you are looking for something a little less pricey.

Ahm987 · 13/03/2023 11:05

I’m interested in all these options which have been suggested as I’m also looking for a good tinted moisturiser. Are any of them good for sensitive skin? I’ve tried the Nivea one and my face immediately felt tight and itchy.

whoruntheworldgirls · 13/03/2023 11:07

I like Boots number 7 BB cream

LookItsMeAgain · 13/03/2023 11:23
