I'm finally buying a puffer/quilted coat

But which one? I've always been a fancy wool coat kind of person, and last year I got a proper outdoor coat which was fairly thin but rain and wind proof. However, I now have a child in school and I want an even warmer coat for winter school run. I basically want a duvet, but because you can't show up at school gates in a duvet, I'm looking for the next best thing.

Something long, not black. I see a few warm-looking ones from Superdry and some from Barbour. I've never owned anything from either brand and I feel like both have a specific image/clientele. Any thoughts/insights?
What's your winter coat of dreams?

I've just bought a Superdry Super Longline Fuji Coat in navy
I bought a black Fuji jacket for my DD last Christmas , she didn't want the full length one . It's really toasty without being heavy (according to DD , I haven't worn mine yet)

No feather or down (I don't use it) I can take the hood off compltely as the fur isn't removeabe and I'm not keen.

Zipped pockets, a further zip on the chest pocket , logo on the sleeve but its subtle .
