Can you wear loose jeans with a puffer?

If so how? I love a puffer because they're actually warm but would one work with loose jeans? Maybe a cropped one? Will I look like a beach ball?
I'm about 5ft 6 and a size 10 if that makes a difference.

I'm interested in this question! During the summer in an attempt to save money I had a good look at my clothes, deciding what goes with what and what hadn't been worn for ages and what could be resurrected.

I realised that loose linen trousers didn't go with loose tops, much nicer effect with a fitted T-shirt or a snug top. Well that was summer, what I'm going to wear from now, gawd knows!
