I need some new trainers and don't know what to buy

I have some white superstars and black new balance which are on their last legs, and am struggling to find anything I like- many because the choice online is a bit overwhelming!

I'm 46 and drawn to styles with a vintage look...but not sure I actually want to be going round in gazelles or sambas, much as I loved them before! I'd be wearing them with jeans.

Any advice? I don't want vejas btw.

Nike Blazer low fit your vintage requirements. Some are very vintage some have a modern twist.

Thanks, all! I do like those Axel Arigato ones but they're a bit (a lot...) over budget, sadly. I thought I was over white trainers but I like the Nike blazer ones. I quite like the high tops too...hmm...

Has anyone bought any Hof trainers? They keep popping up as adverts but had never heard of them before.

I always wear Sketchers. Just offering it as an idea.

Everyone seems to be wearing new balance 327s round here.

I just bought the Hoff avant garde trainers and love them so much. Even the soles are pretty and they’re very spongy and comfortable. I also have Adidas sleek in black and Nike blazer hi tops. I think colourful trainers are next in for AW. Saw some beautiful Nike blazers in orange and brown but sold out in my size.

I have Hoff and I LOVE them. Get lots of compliments too.

I love my gazelles and have loads of colours however I have just bought two pairs of New Balance 327s and they are so comfortable.

I have some white Nike AF1s. Same age as you, and I get complimented on them by random youth, which always makes me smile :)

I'm a big fan of the New Balance 530. Not so expensive and very comfortable to wear.

I bought some gold Gola Bostons which I get a lot of comments on.

Ecco leather trainers- very comfortable and come in different colours. You won’t find many other people wearing them either!

Adidas Forum Low or Mid - and if you're a size 5.5 or smaller you can get them at kids' prices. I've just bought a pair for £45 instead of £85 (adult price).

I was told they are a little small. I'm a 5 and the 5.5 fit perfectly.
