Bras are SO uncomfortable! Scoliosis

Please help! I'm in my 40s and have spent most of my life being deeply uncomfortable every day because of bras.

I have a mild scoliosis and my ribs stick out. More so on one side. Quite small boobs. Bras sit uncomfortably and move around. I'm constantly readjusting (yes people notice).

Any ideas for styles I can go for?

Do you really need a bra? A vest with some padding would be much more comfortable if it's just about hiding nipples.

Yoga bras, sports bras, or bralettes.

Bin anything with a wire and go for good elasticity. There are tons of option in all shops now, I've got nice ones from Primark to Tesco to M&S.

Marks and Spencer Flexifit, the non wired one.

I have sensory issues and lupus and can’t wear bras. Im a 32GG so fairly large boobed but I just wear stretchy crop tops from Primark or sainsburys. Can’t stand anything wired.

Thank you, you lovely people. I will try out a few options. I do like a bit of padding because I have no boobs left after breastfeeding and the bralettes, vests, etc I'd tried move around as well, but perhaps it's worth trying more options

I'm fairly small of boob and have just discovered some really great bralettes from Victoria's Secret. They're from their "pink" range and I got them from Next. They've got a bit of padding. They're incredibly comfy - can't believe the decades I've wasted in underwiring!

I have scolisios, albeit that isn't the reason I stopped wearing underwired 'proper' bras. There are so many wireless options now (with or without padding) that I really would give some a try.

I have scoliosis and relate to what you're saying, I changed from wired to wireless bras a couple of years ago and I'd never go back now! M&S do some multipacks for a good price that I find comfortable. I still find every now and then my ribs are uncomfortable but it's better than it was!

I wear these: www.thebigbloomerscompany.co.uk/products/all-woman-pull-on-bra

I agree with PP - if you've got small boobs, you don't necessarily need a traditional bra.

I hate bras with a vengeance! They feel like I'm wearing scaffolding and I am not erm......volumptuous. I also don't have scoliosis but I do have sympathy.

Sports type bras are the most comfortable, no straps, very elastic and they don't move past my 'wotsits'....😁

Not all of them are padded so you may need to use something underneath for modesty.
