Is Dyson hair wrap a hairdryer too?

I'm thinking of a getting a Dyson hairdryer for my birthday. Reviews seem good and I'm almost sold.

However, the hair wrap looks good too. Reviews say it gives waves rather than curls so I think it'd suit my hair, But is it a hairdryer too?

I def don't want to pay £700-odd for both! There's a big price difference - £329 for the hairdryer to £479 for the hair wrap. Is it worth it?

Yes it has an attachment that is a hairdryer

It has an attachment that is a hair dryer but it’s much less powerful than the original dyson hair dryer . It’s designed to get the damp out of your hair and then you switch to one of the attachments.

I use mine pretty much just as a hairdryer - rarely as the wrap 😂

You can use the AW as a hairdryer - however it currently doesn't have either precision or diffuser attachments if you need those.

Ah that'd be an issue.

Thanks all for the input. Maybe just the hairdryer for me, I'm not having both!! 😂

Definitely the hairdryer. I've had both - the hairdryer for about 5 years. I love it but I was very disappointed with the AW.

I've had the AW for almost a year. I really like the hairdryer part, it's small and powerful!

I use mine as a hairdryer but not to blow dry a style. When I can't be bothered to use the brush attachments to dry almost straight I blast the top layers with the dryer and leave the bottom layers to dry naturally because they are wavy. I love the air wrap.
