I keep seeing adverts for them on social media. It looks a bit too good to be true.

Does anyone have one? Is it any good?

I'm too cack handed to use straighteners or a wand. I'm wondering if one of these might be the solution.

Have one and love it, absolutely brilliant on my hair.

Is it really as easy to use as it looks in their adverts?

Have the one off Amazon and it’s great! Takes a bit of practice to be able to get the hair in close to the root at the back but otherwise easy

I have one!
I am absolutely shit at curling with straighteners or tongs and I can use this with my eyes closed.
Only drawback is it's very ringlet-y rather than the more modern waves my hairdresser can achieve with straighteners IYSWIM but if you're cack-handed like me it's a winner

I have one since cutting my hair to my shoulders and the hairdresser curling it, it's beautiful! I'm still a bit cack handed but my daughter borrowed it and did her long hair on her own and it was stunning! It's so easy to use and the curls actually lasted on me which normally they don't!

That was my daughters....she has a lot of hair and did it on her own in about 15 mins!

for someone also crack-handed and with fine hair these look amazing. However I can’t see how you actually get your hair into it / round the barrel? Their videos don’t show that bit - can anyone explain please?

That's the beauty of it @Allezvite you don't have to wind anything around the barrel. You literally grab a strand of hair and put it inside the slot and it sucks it up, winds it and curls it for you when you press a button

Yes it can @isweartoomuch but doesn't happen much

And any good for just above shoulder length hair?

I posted above with pics of mine & daughters hair, well we've swapped lengths now, she's shorter and I'm long, still works great!

She had her hair cut into a bob earlier this year and it's about shoulder length now and she uses it to curl her hair and bangs and it looks gorgeous, I stole it back from her last weekend as I was going out and curled ends to mid on my hair ehile it was in a ponytail, then took it down & left it loose with a bit pinned up and it was lovely and easy to do on my own. I will definitely be using it more often

I bought one for DD and it works brilliantly and the curls/waves hold even in her fine hair.
