Hi everyone,
Over the weekend I had a big sort out of clothes and up top at the back of my cupboard I found a bag of jeans, which I had obviously stored well many years ago, which I totally forgot about. (they were with my wedding dress so they have been there a while). I vaguely recall getting them perhaps 10-12 years ago and put them away for some reason I can't recall.
I am a lot smaller now, so unfortunately they don't fit me, and I think they are too big to alter down to my current size. So I thought I would sell them on, as I am sure someone would like unworn, yet discontinued Levis. Iirc they were bought in the USA and so the sizing is different on the label. One is a size 7 and one is a size 8, so I have worked out they are what we size as 32 and 33 waist. But both of them have the letters L/C next to the size. I have googled and cannot work out what L/C stands for. I need to sell them noting the equivalent sizing really, so if someone asks me what the lettering stands for, I think its something I should be able to answer.... They are 504 and 505 styles.
I have contacted Levi's to ask, and have not had a response. I also called one of their larger stores and no-one there seems to know either.
So if anyone could help me, I will feel less annoyed that I cannot figure this one out.
(I thought it may mean low cut, but one pair is mid rise so I don't think that is it).
