What to wear to a fancy spa break?!

Hi Folks,

My lovely Brother has booked a week away for us in early October to a fancy spa/golf hotel place. This is not something that I would normally do (we are the poor relations of the family) My brother is having a significant birthday and he has stood us all for a family holiday including the kids and our parents and I have no idea what to wear!

DH and I are university academics (I am on ML and he is on RL) so we don't need fancy clothes for work, beyond something Officey for graduations. I am also EBF the baby who will be roughly 6mo by the trip and have a 5yo. I would like to be comfy but smart in the daytime -- what is right for a spa? and at night, I'd like to be comfy and pretty in something I could wear in my 'normal' life. I do not have £££, so would need to spend under £200 for the lot.

I have autism, so I am very anxious about not doing the 'wrong' thing in social situations!

TIA

Pip

Go for geek chic and wear something you already have ❤️ Wear it with confidence.

I’ve go to spas sometimes and seriously just wear anything. (Also an academic)

Have a fantastic time!

Just normal clothes during the day. I don't like spas but was at Gleneagles and during the day people just wore normal, everyday clothes.

For the evening anything other than jeans- a pretty dress will be fine.

At any spa I’ve ever been to, you’ll be in a (spa-provided) robe all day.

If you're doing the spa stuff- I hate spa stuff but some of the spa hotels are lovely in their own right and normal, every day clothes are fine.

Do you know what you’ll be doing? I imagine if you’re there for a week you might be planning day trips etc so if you’ve got an idea of the mix of things you’d be doing that might help? Also where is it (how cold will it be?)
