M&S Knickers have they changed? (a la Paxman)

Following on from Jeremy Paxman's comments about M&S undies - have they changed ?

Coincidentally I bought several pairs in M &S on Sat including 4 for £10 (seemed a bit cheap for M&S for me)of very pretty low rise shorts.

Very pretty but unless my bum has got smaller (usually a size 16) these shorts just seem to slide down LOL - is this usual or an indication of less 'support'.

With trousers or jeans this is fine as they hold them up but with a skirt in summer would be a def no no as they would slide down.

Or should I have bought at size 14 perhaps?

Strange - anyone else have similar experiences or am I just too old for low rise flimsy shorts?

i find them crap nowadays - the elastic isn't hardy enough and they just roll down, whatever the style.
