Boots (footwear....not the pharmacy chain) ;-)

What are you planning on wearing on your feet this winter? I feel I'm looking for the holy grail of footwear here.

I have wide feet and chubby legs so sometimes an ankle boot won't zip up all the way on me. I am trying to lose weight but not sure how that will affect my legs. Anyway, I'd love a comfy pair of winter boots that are a bit stylish. I can't do heels so it has to be flat or a slight wedge (starting to sound like my grandmother here).

What are you wearing (so that I can get ideas of what is out there and where to browse)? I tend to look on line in the same few shops (Next, M&S, Clarks) for footwear so any ideas would really be appreciated.

I realise that they have been around forever, but I will be getting out my Fly Mes boots again. I have very bulbous lower legs, and the cut away back sits below the bulgiest bit of my calf, so they do up!

I have some smartish ankle boots, a pair of chunky zip ones, from Pavers which also have adjustable laces. Trainers are my trusty Skechers d'lites

I find the shoes too narrow and too short, but the boots ok in allegedly the sane size - I'm a 42/43, so I can't size up!

My go to boots are my Fairfax and Favor ones, I have their ankle boots and they fit fine on my cubby ankles.

my others are a cheap pair from Dorothy Perkins about 4 years ago the were £8 in the sale and have lasted bloody brilliantly.
