Tired of feeling like a crone - do these work?

Do electronic hair removal devices that you can buy on Amazon work? Anyone had any experience. I know I can read reviews but I just thought I'd ask as MNetters might be a bit more insightful.

Have a few/million pesky face hairs which are making me feel 100 years older. What a gift nature is to be sure.

Is the only other option the beautician? I'm not good at all that stuff tbh.

I've has laser for hair removal and it's worked a treat. Gone from daily plucking of chin hairs to zilch after 6 x sessions at £25 each.

Seems to last around 2 years before I see a bit of regrowth but nothing like before.

Happy to pay for top up sessions.

It's a miracle!

Ummm, you might need to be a bit more specific.

I have a multifacial hair demover and it works, I can't bring myself to do top lip though as it's bloody painful. But brilliant for chin... Like this one

Beautician is easier cos you're not fighting yourself to do it! But I had a good sesh this morning and sorted my jawline...

Yes, sorry, I meant a zapper thing that is meant to kill the follicles and slow growth.

I got a facial epilator during lockdown. Definitely worth it and I haven’t gone back to the beautician for waxing. First few times were painful but now I do it little and often and it’s ok. Combined it with facial wax strips at first.

Braun FaceSpa Face Epilator, Hair Removal with Facial Cleansing Brush Head, 100% Waterproof, SE810, White

Got it from Amazon.

I have a Lumea. I'd be reluctant to buy a no brand thing from Amazon and zap my face with it.

Sorry, lots of new posts while I was composing and I realise I misunderstood your question. LordEmsworth, yes the upper lip is torture. Glad it’s not just me 🙂
