Can you buy Seven for All Mankind jeans in short leg in the UK?

I've found short leg ones in the States but have never seen any over here in the UK.

Does anyone know if you can get them online in UK?

I'm looking for a 31 inch leg.

Thanks

I know that Next sell them, but I think they are 34" leg.

Tutter · 21/01/2008 21:35

no, they're all the same length

but oddly, i've found them to vary

(iykwim)

current pair i had shortened

other pairs were spot on

but they're all supposed to be (33"?)

paddingtonbear1 · 21/01/2008 21:36

yep Next are a long length. I have some 7 jeans and they are fab, but I've never seen them in a short leg. I'm only a 29" leg, so I got someone to turn them up!

sophierosie · 21/01/2008 22:40

I knew it would be too much to hope for to be able to actually buy a pair of jeans that fitted

are the 7 jeans really worth it? I have seenthem in Next and am thinking of buying a pair, but can anywone tell me are they worth the extra money before I fork out 150quid?

Enid · 22/01/2008 11:23

no 34 inch only

get them taken up

Enid · 22/01/2008 11:25

I thought maybe not after I had spunked xxx pounds on them

but actually I tried on some cheap jeans the other day and they looked crap

if I was thin and long of leg I would be less likely to need the extra help

(btw the high waisted 7's bootcut are fantabulous)

Piffle · 22/01/2008 11:27

get em taken up
I went to the holy grail of 7's in Barneys loft NYC and got super chinese tailor to take em up with original hems for about £2

However I no longer fit them due to post natal baby bulge

TheGiftedandTalentedGoat · 22/01/2008 11:28

they are fabulous but then i got mine for £20 in a discount store - no way am i paying 150 for apair of jeans

Piffle · 22/01/2008 11:31

go to TK Maxx for cheaper 7's thats my tip

florenceuk · 22/01/2008 11:42

so if you were a short (5ft1) person with slim hips but bulgy tummy (ie straight up and down), normally size 10 but with a largish waist, would these work? I am on the hunt for a really good pair of jeans!

the tkmax 7's are not as good!

CountessDracula · 22/01/2008 11:43

florence try river island

They are great for your shape

Enid · 22/01/2008 11:45

top shop are the best cheap jeans imo

CountessDracula · 22/01/2008 11:46

River Island are better IMO
I have both
They seem much more structured

Enid · 22/01/2008 11:51

thats good to know

was about to head to topshop maybe I'll try RI

are they very low waisted [suspicious]

honestly after wearing the 7 high waisted I'll never go back

florenceuk · 22/01/2008 11:53

are they high-waisted? As I find a lot of high st jeans are too low waisted (designed for teenagers not those with low abdominal muscle tone).

CountessDracula · 22/01/2008 11:54

My fave ones are hipsters but not very low at all. They are perfect for me as I have no waist!

I think they do high waisted too - I can't wear them as they hurt my kidney

CountessDracula · 22/01/2008 11:54

(I am a 14 not a skinny minnie btw and have a big wobbly tum )

Piffle · 22/01/2008 11:55

I like 7's because I have no hips/waist. But now with a slight podge of a tummy, they look awful.

Piffle · 22/01/2008 11:55

on me they look awful as I get overspill and wear fitted tops = not pretty

CountessDracula · 22/01/2008 11:55

I have to wear belt with RI ones
But then I do anyway

Enid · 22/01/2008 11:56

piff you NEED the high waisted ones

but there are rather spendy

CountessDracula · 22/01/2008 11:58

I tried on some gap ones recently that said low rise

They came up to my bra virtually
