If you work in a smart-ish corporate office and are back in the office some/all of the time what are you wearing on your feet please? My nude court shoes feel out of date but we can't wear open toe and I can't wear heels any more. I don't like flats. I would like to feel reasonably up to date but no need for me to be in latest fashion and need something comfortable. Thank you.

Hi! I know, I cannot wear heals anymore and my office is reasonably smart. Not sure if your style, but you say you don’t like flats … but you cannot wear heels… I assume you mean you don’t like flat pumps like ballerina style?
anyhow, chunky loafers are comfortable and look good in that environment imo.
Or not so chunky loafers but with a variety of very small flat heel , or in suede. Here are some examples, obviously depending on your budget but you can get similar ones a bit more inexpensive. Not sure if it helps

If I have to wear smart clothes (pretty rare) I wear brogues or chelsea/lace up boots.

I think quality makes a difference and I would always get leather so they can be polished.
