Best sheepskin boots for wide calves

Let me preface this by saying I don't care if they're wildly unfashionable and unsightly!

I'm starting chemo soon and would like to get myself some sheepskin boots as a treat to keep me warm and comfy. Would like calf-length to wear with leggings- am a size 12 on the bottom but generous of calf and lacking in ankle!

I had tall Uggs as a teen but was smaller then. Have looked at Just Sheepskin and Celtic and Co online.

Just wondered if anyone could shed any light as to what brands might be a good fit.

Celtic are great and do boots with poppers or zips that would allow you to customise the fit. I've got the house boots which seem roomy enough in the leg - as they're slip-on style they can't be too narrow. Very soft inners which give way as you wear them.

It sounds like I have legs and non-existent ankles like you. I have a pair of Sorel Emilie boots, which I really like, and are just big enough for me - although I can't wear them with thick trousers tucked in only tights. They are low calf. They may be worth trying.

Ps, if you want me to measure my calves and ankles to give you an idea I'm happy to pm you😀

Thanks @HouseInChaos but I think I want something really traditionally Ugg-like so they are almost glorified slippers. Will consider the zip/popper sides.
