Quality piercing jewellery- other than Maria Tash

I'm after some nice jewellery for the 2nd and 3rd lobe piercings but as I intend to leave them in I'd prefer flat back piercing style studs rather than typical spike and butterfly earrings.

Needs to be solid gold rather than plated so I can leave them in. Perhaps Opal, diamond, sapphire stones and delicate.

Ive looked at Maria Tash but not much bling for the buck! Any suggestions of where else to look?

Ask your piercer to get pieces in for you - Anatometal and Junipurr are good brands.

I’ve been looking at Lark and Berry - they have some beautiful studs.

I have BVLA jewellery in my ears from Sacred Gold in London. A mix of diamonds, aquamarines and topaz in white gold, though they do rose or yellow gold too. All very delicate and can be left in all the time.

Serenity jewellery does lovely flat backed earrings. Various metals but lots of titanium which is often what piercers use .

Thanks for these ideas. I was struggling to find where to get BVLA from.
My piercer is fab but only stocks basics.

@broccolibush what pieces do you wear?

These are my ears. My right has a Swiss blue topaz & diamond panaraya in the helix, a 5 prong aquamarine in the conch, a marquis’s aquamarine in the tragus and a prongset diamond in the high lobe. My left has a faraway ring with London blue topaz in the daith and an ocean blue diamond mini kandy with two prongset diamonds in the flat. It sounds like a lot but because they’re all so little, aside from the panaraya which is a bit of a statement piece, it’s all quite delicate. But I’ve grown used to even that now.

Oh, and I forgot the diamond seam ring in my right rook.

@broccolibush thank you - some lovely pieces.
Are your prongset diamonds BVLA?
Your marquise is exactly what I'm after!

broccolibush · 23/08/2022 16:39

Yes everything is BVLA.

willthatbeall · 23/08/2022 18:01

Thanks for those other suggestions. If is there a benefit of 14/18k over 9k?

Astrid and Miyu (helpful for me as they changed it for me after I bought it as i couldn't have done it myself) Similar styles to Maria Tash

Have a look at other piercing studios that make their own jewellery, that way it's something a bit unique and you could even commission something if you were feeling spendy (same sort of prices as Maria Tash but you'll be the only one wearing it!)
