Is this dress too bridesmaidey?

I'm going to a wedding at the end of September at an indoor venue. I really like this dress but I'm worried it's a bit too much like a bridesmaids dress. The actual bridesmaids dresses are long dusky pink dresses with a lacy top half.

What do you think? Would a midi length be more suitable for a guest rather than a maxi dress?
(It's been years since I've been to a wedding!)

I don't think bridesmaid when I look at that dress at all. It's pretty though.

A bit

Given that you've asked about the bridesmaids' dresses, and yours is nothing like them, I think it's fine - and a very pretty dress.

It’s very nice and not too bridesmaid

toastofthetown · 23/08/2022 12:32

That looks very bridesmaid like to me. Long, solid colour dresses often do.

Whataretheodds · 23/08/2022 12:34

No it's fine - longer dresses v much in for wedding guests, not just bridesmaids. Plus totally different colour. Go for it.

I don't think it looks like a bridesmaid's dress at all. Go for it!

Thank you everyone - a mixed response!
Going to order it, plus a couple of others I've found which are midi length and patterned, and make a decision once I've tried them all on.
Have just realised that it might be too long for me anyway, even with heels! I do love it though!
