I have a new job which requires me to wear formal work wear at some events. It's a professional environment and my colleagues are quite formal (on the glam side). We will be working with young professionals also, so I need something that isn't dated but is formal.
I used to do heels but they seem a bit dated now, I'm not sure if my colleagues wear them and I need footwear for a full on event in my first few days so no time to scope it out! I have some gold wedges which I could use for one day (3 day event) but obviously this won't work with everything or later in the year.
My style is quite pretty and classic, so dresses and jackets for formal wear. No clumpy shoes (which I know are in).
Any suggestions?
