If I like these scents will I like Diptyque Feu de Bois?

I have a John Lewis voucher and want to treat myself to a Diptyque candle. I've never had or smelt one and would have to order online, so it would be a costly mistake if I didn't like it!

I wear Maison Margiela By the Fireplace which I love. I've also had a Perfume Parlour dupe of Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille which was lovely, and the White Company Fireside diffuser.

Is it safe to say I will like Feu de Bois?

It smells amazing but I was so disappointed by the candle itself. I was given one as a gift and honestly it was the smokiest and most unevenly burning candle I have had. They’re also paraffin wax which I think makes them a rip off for the price

I think I you will. It's veeeery accurately named - to me it smells exactly like a wood fire or a wood burner. It's also very strong.
If you like Tobacco Vanille you might also like Diptyque's Vanille as it's a similar grown up vanilla. Nothing sweet and sugary, it's a bourbon vanilla - vanilla pods rather than vanilla ice cream!

Next to Baies, feu de bois is my favourite! But my adult daughter hates it 😂😂 (still lights it when she's here though!)
