Coast - badly edited photos, strange poses, underfed models

A long time ago, there was a department store called Debenhams. And in there, you could find a shop called Coast.

This was handy if you were looking for an outfit for a Christmas party, a wedding, or other special occasion. And if Coast didn't pull through, then the likelihood of finding something suitable in Debenhams was quite high.

I have a black tie event soon, and I remembered this story. As I can no longer visit Debenhams, I decided to look on the Coast website.

But, oh my, what is going on with Coast?

They still have some nice things, but the way that they are showcasing their wares is baffling.

There is no point to this thread. I realise I can shop elsewhere. I just wish that the fashion industry was more in line with my feminist views.

Coast used to be gorgeous. Boohoo have ruined it and cheapened everything.

The whole Debenhams website is crap now - it’s like browsing a cheap online version of Primark. I used to love Debenhams, you could always find something there. Now the owner of Boohoo is contributing to the demise of the high street by selling rubbish online and it’s shit.

That long white dress in the first link would be perfect for a Bride of Frankenstein Halloween party costume.

I get the rage at the Sainsbury Tu ones , the models have their arms wrapped round their torso or across their waist .
I want to see the clothes and how long they are , not how far you can self hug .

It looks like they are trying to show the plus size model has big feet with the weird camera work.
