New job. What to wear?

Hey everyone. I please need your wisdom. I am due to start a new rule soon as a Criminal Justice Recovery worker and I have no clue what to wear. The dress code is quite relaxed due to not want to appear too formal in front of the service users. This is a big career change for me and has involved lots of retraining around a full time job and my children so I really want to make a good impression. I have always worked in retail management and as such have had a uniform and never had to think about what to wear. I'm 34 and 5ft8 size 14 with still a bit of a c section tum. Thank you wise ones Smile

Jersey dresses look nice but not too formal. You can dress them up or down depending on shoes.

Black trousers and shirt/blouse? Don't think you can go wrong with that - you will be able to scop out what others wear once you've started.
