Wondering if I should try tear trough filler again

I had tear trough filler over a year ago, however it didn't really last for very long and I didn't think I got a good result with it, even though I went to a very good doctor with great reviews. I'm just wondering if this is something I should try again in the hopes it might actually last a bit longer this time and i will get a better result.

Anyone else have tear trough fillers and didn't have such a great result with them? Maybe it's something that just doesn't work for everyone. I desperately want something just to brighten my eye area, I'm sick of looking exhausted all the time even after 8 hours of sleep.

How about laser? I've never done it, but heard of it for dark circles.

@Gwenhwyfar that's a good idea and something to look into. I'm trying mesotherapy at the moment but haven't really noticed a great deal of difference

Well, I've just had tt filler done. I went to make an appointment for a consultation thinking the consultation would be in a few weeks and the treatment even later, but they had an opening that day and just did it!
One side looks slightly lumpy now. I hope it will resolve itself.
After I got home I read some stuff on the internet about what to do before and after, which I wasn't told at the clinic at all. One of them was not to drink before, which I had done because I had 3 hours to kill!
The only advice I was given was not to touch it last night, but I can touch it today.
Online also said no exercise for 24 hours. I guess those other things are all low risk.

@Gwenhwyfar was it painful to have it done? Keep me posted on your result 😊

No, not painful, but you've had it done yourself haven't you?
I'm a bit worried about the bubble I have on one side, but I suppose I need to give it a week to see how it develops.

is it definitely only sunken tear trough that is your problem? if there are issues with the fat pad, excess skin etc then they will not be fixable by tear trough which is why it might not be working so well.

Isn’t it potentiall dangerous due to filler migration?

why not try eye yoga excercises? Danielle Collins has some on YT.

the laser treatment sounds promising.

No no no don’t do this.

Why do you look tired? Is it darkness, sunken eyes or eye bags? All completely different.

You need to get to the root cause before having a treatment.

It seems that the area has hollowness more than anything and also darkness, I don't have bags. I've decided I will have a consultation with a doctor I found to see what he suggests
