Wedding dress small budget

My friend is getting married and looking for some inspiration on wedding dresses.

As a mini hen idea we are all bringing a dress to a cocktail and try on night.

I'd love some help, quite open on styles, but would prefer traditional colours. Suitable for size 18. Friend is not heavy chested so no concerns about that. It's a small registry wedding. Budget around £200, although could go higher.

Even ideas of where to look if not specific dresses would be great.

ASOS do a fantastic bridal range. My friend got married in an ASOS dress and it was stunning. They also do a bridal curve range.

£200? Was about my budget for my own wedding 😕 the shoes were bought on sale and ended up wearing the ones from my mum's wedding 😂

I got my dress second hand, it was vintage all lace 🙂 and just needed to be slightly adjusted. Found some cheap but beautiful earrings and hair clip

Would hiring be an option?
Some charity shops have wedding sections - Oxfam online has one.

I second the ASOS suggestion 😊 Also try Hope & Ivy - they have a bridal section all around the £140/160 range.
Needle & Thread do some beautiful dresses - over budget but maybe check Vinted? You might get a bargain 😊

This bride bought a beautiful second hand dress then had it customised - maybe an idea for your friend? (Although the cost was over your budget, so why am I even posting this!)

I can't believe I missed out Hope & Ivy, that's where i got my wedding dress from 😂

Ever pretty Uk do some lovely dresses but online but can return easy enough tho order 2 sizes bigger
