Are overglasses (sunglasses) any good?

What brands should I look at?

Can they be bought over the counter?

Are they naff? I really want a pair as I can't afford prescription sunglasses all the time as my prescription is a bit complicated

I find they make my face very very hot, so I gave it up. I have Rx sunglasses, but I don't update the lenses unless there's a massive change in the Rx.

Have you priced a pair up from an online place or do you need to see the optometrist for changes?

I have them & love them. I have a really big pair - Jackie O style.

They are better than sunglasses as they go around the sides & over the top, so stop light getting in that way too.
