Depends on the venue, most of the comedy gigs I have seen have been in pubs or the comedy store so casual/ jeans is fine.

Casual to smart casual on a weekend, work clothes on a week day

Kevin Bridges will likely be in a bigger venue. I've seen him more than once.

I tend to go along the lines of jeans, converse, silky black tshirt type top and jacket.

Basically quite casual. :)

Enjoy!

Just clothes that I'd wear to a pub. You're sat in the dark so nobody will see much.

Id wear whatever id been wearing that day. I never dress up for comedy gigs. Youre just an audience member.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 11/08/2022 15:20

Hot - a dress and 'nice' trainers
Colder - jeans and a 'going out top' top and 'nice' trainers or a dress, jacket and nice trainers or boots.

I really wouldn't think very much about it tbh.

He's mainly playing big stadiums like SECC now isn't he, unless you mean the book signing next week? So in this weather I'd be wearing a summer dress and trainers

DaisyDando · 11/08/2022 15:27

I have just come back from the Edinburgh Festival and you can wear quite literally anything. Some days I wore jeans and a Breton top with my Vejas because I’m a dated cliche, but sometimes I wore a nice cotton maxi dress because I’m menopausal.

OneFrenchEgg · 11/08/2022 15:29

Jeans and a top. I feel like required dressing up is vanishing although no one will bat an eyelid if you go for it and wear a dress or suit or whatever.
The only places now I have to wear anythong that.Need thinking about is to work, maybe opera or very few restaurantsz Equally though, if I want to get made up, no one cares either.
