St tropez air whipped luxe fake tan- anyone use!?

I read like it in terms of I don’t get streaks (although still can’t master knees and elbows!) but why isn’t it very dark?! I’m pale… so it looks very natural on me which is why I use it but it’s so very pale?? There isn’t a dark and light shade. I have tired putting it on at night and leaving it and then having to do it again in the morning which is a pain in the arse! Anyone mastered this?

ST Moritz is a dupe for St Tropez and a third of the price - they do a nice medium mouse that gives a good colour (i’m pale too)

if I want even darker cover I put a layer on, wait an hour, then do another.

tips for even cover

  • bodyscrub and full moisturiser day before

  • moisturise on elbows, knees and ankles - leave it a bit wet

  • then tan

@PhoneyM thabak I have tried them and still got streaks and not that even, this one of st tropez is the only one that seems to suit my skin which is great but it’s so pale!!

Maybe try the 2 layers on the same night option — should go a little darker

Justthinkin · 11/08/2022 07:24

@PhoneyM ok how far apart would you suggest leaving the application?

I do an hour - so it’s reasonably dry first. Then apply in full again.

Justthinkin · 11/08/2022 07:46

@PhoneyM ok thanks I’ll try that. I have tried showering the next morning and putting it back on, helps but such a faff!

Agree with the double layer but also keep your tan in the fridge.

PhoneyM · 11/08/2022 08:00

SnowWhitesSM ooh that’s a new tip 👍🏻

Have you tried the bondi sands gold aero?
Its a similar formula to the st tropez one but develops a bit darker. (I’m very pale and it’s not
overly dark)

Justthinkin · 11/08/2022 09:42

@AngelOfTheSilence no I haven’t. What is the smell like? That’s whT I like about the air whip one as not smelling of biscuits or gravy….

It’s not too bad. It does have quite a strong scent but not your typical fake tan smell…..more coconut scented.
