Hi hoping someone can advise me on best beauty treatment to have for dull menopausal skin. Facial, peel or microdermabrasion? Also microblading for eyebrows, is it worth it? Not been well need something to give me a boost! Thank you.

Sorry to hear you haven’t been well. I have found moisturiser (Simple brand so nothing expensive) and good hydration the key for me. Once a fortnight I use a peel that you put on and it rubs away the dead skin cells. Haven’t a clue of the brand - sorry, it was one of those street hawker impulse buys. Annoyingly wine doesn’t seem to agree with my menopausal skin so I have cut back and if I want a wine instead have spritzers. Everyone of my friends seem different so do ‘listen’ to your skin. Those of my friends spending mega bucks on dermabrasion don’t seem to have done any better. Can’t comment on the eyebrows as I don’t have any issues with mine. Good luck.

I use Superdrug Naturally Radiant cleanser cheap as chips. Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser. I am 58 and have done the gamut on skincare over the years believe you me!

I also see a n aesthetics beautician for dermal fillers every ten months.hehe really is amazing as she is an experienced dentist too. She is the business I would trust her with my life! My face looks very natural as I use 1ml not 1.5 ml. Unlike other women I know who have that godawful puffed up hamster cheeks look.

I would argue however that the Superdrug cleanser may be enough on its own.

I have been using Elemis midnight facial every night, it has really made a difference to my skin.

I agree Aerish it is fantastic stuff but high end skincare is prohibitive for me these days....
