Pool holidays - what's worked for you this year? What will you change for next year?

I'm a big size 16 and chewed myself to bits about my holiday wardrobe

I bought a few cossies and bikinis but have stuck to 2 bikinis in the same style and haven't really cared which has amazed me. This is my fave with bright patterned bottoms Bikini top

I wish I'd brought more cover ups for round the pool and would love recommendations

Primark cycling shorts under dresses have made me so, so much more comfort

For next year - I need to sort out what to do with my shoulder length hair on a night time. I'm rubbish and I'm going to ask my hair dresser for some easy lessons!

I love Freya Sundance bikinis. The halter neck tops are really flattering on me and offer enough support to jump about in the waves on a beach holiday with the children. I've had good bikinis from Pour Moi before too. For beach cover ups Zara is often worth a look - floaty oversized shirts & kaftans which are easy to wear in the sunshine. I've coveted some from Free People too but they are a bit more £££

I love floaty shirt type coverups. I also like bikinis with clasp backs and no ties as they’re comfier to lie on.

maybe tie your hair back? There’s lovely hair accessories/scarves/ head bands.

My best coverups were bought abroad! Cotton is essential. I got a really nice one from H&M but it’s polyester. No thanks!

Halterneck bikinis give me a headache so I now avoid.

Hair- middle parting and low bun. Stylish and classy. You could also leave 2 strands down at the front.

This worked really well for me. It's cut longer at the back than the front, which I really liked when lounging with my legs bent at the knee as there was enough material to keep the back of my thighs covered.

A lot of people are using clips to clip up their hair again. I used a bit of dry shampoo to add some height and texture , twist up the back and clip, 2 strands down at the front that I curled.

Last minute decision to buy Batiste dry shampoo in Boots before my flight was the best 'style' decision I made the whole week!
