Where and when to buy 'fancy' swimwear

Next year I'm going abroad for a 'special' holiday and I'd like to replace my current swimwear which I've had for years. I'd love nice bikinis and coverups, but tend to have a cider budget for my champagne tastes

Where is good (online) to find nice swimwear and coverups etc, and would I be better to wait until it's the depths of winter here or is there a 'good' time to buy?

Boden is good, they have some very nice patterned one pieces and bikinis at the moment.

cupshe.com have a sale on. There's generally less choice out of season - I'd get a bargain in the sale now.

Boden does great swimwear as does Seafolly

I love Yse. Or Eres for the perfect classic swimsuit if you’re feeling spendy or can grab a bargain.

I have got sale bargains from pour moi and a non Sale lovely swimsuit from Seafolly

Try eBay. I bought some pour moi bikinis form there (new with tags). You can filter by size etc.

Outnet as most decent sale stock is long gone now in regular shops

Brandalley have some fab swimwear, including the occasional Melissa Odabash at bargain prices.

Check regularly, it's updated frequently.

Get a bikini top that fits you properly. Not one that is too small in the cup and too big round the back etc. A great fit and properly supported boobs means that an ordinary one can look fantastic. Do you really know your bra size? Have a look at Boob or Bust website and go from there or go to a good independent bra shop. From there Bravissimo do some fantastic bikinis. When you know what you like there are Ebay outlets for many of the expensive makes. Good luck!

If you check regularly you can find some great bits in TK Maxx especially Australian brands like Tigerlily or Seafolly.
im a big fan of a Boden swimsuit too

Shein is good for cover ups. More tap water than champagne but they have nice styles

Brandalley usually have some Seafolly on sale

I've been impressed by Cupshe I've bought both my daughters and myself swimsuits and Bikinis from there I did use their Amazon store though as didn't want to worry about returns.
We are all different sizes ranging from a small 6 to a 16.

Pour moi is good if you want a proper supportive Bikini top.

Go on the Flannels website, they have designer swimwear if that is what you're after. Seafolly and most Australian swimwear companies do really nice and flattering ones.

I love this Spanish brand for swimwear and beach wear.

Another vote for Pour Moi. After bulk standard swimming pool costumes all these years, just brought myself a lovely Tankini from them (in the sale).
