Sandals for narrow low volume feet

Looking for some casual-ish sandals that might fit my narrow, low volume feet. The narrowness is less of an issue, but I'm finding the sandals I've tried on so far, e.g. birkenstocks the strap nearer the ankle doesn't touch any part of my foot!

Any ideas?

I have narrow and shallow feet and the easiest solution is often to just get an extra hole punched in leather straps (obviously they need buckles for this to work. Did you try the Birkenstocks in the narrow fitting?

I'm the opposite but I can't get more than three toes into Jones the Bootmaker shoes.

Yes, narrow fitting. The ones I'd tried were these

They were all skewiff on the tightest setting, would have been even worse on an extra hole. But perhaps other styles might work.

I think styles with separate straps over the toes and higher up are usually easiest to adjust without distorting the shape, though I do have some suede Arizonas that look fine with the extra hole.

Can you wear mules? Do away with the need for an ankle strap and buy some narrow mules.

I don't find that sort easy to walk around in for any length of time.

How about Teva sandals? they’re pretty adjustable.

Narrow feet, always size down in sandals and wish could do the same in shoes and boots. These have worked for me

The low volume is more of an issue than narrowness tbh. I can get round it in shoes with an extra insole, which is of course not possible with sandals.
