What is your favourite lipstick?

As simple as that! I need some inspo as I recently threw away a lot of my old ones as they were way too old…
i currently have one bright but sheer solor from glossier, one matt soft red lip pencil from nars (dolce vita I think) and a dark nude dior lip stain which I wouldn’t recommend as it’s poor quality imo.
I aim to buy a few more in the upcoming months. Love Lisa Eldridge and Charlotte Tilbury and am a red lover but would also like to get some nudes.

Do you also use matching lip pencils?

Blue Raspberry from BobbiBrown. I have pale , cool colouring and this is the perfect nude for me. Doesn’t look nude in the tube tho. It looks brown.

Pillow talk lipstick and liner by Charlotte Tilbury is my daily go to!
Also like the colour on the beach by smashbox 😊

Nars Audacious in shade Anita. A really lovely pinky-nude and very creamy in texture

MAC Velvet Teddy is a lush nude and MAC Viva Glam I is a lovely red. The NYX butterglosses are so nice on and Morphe have some good trio sets in a range of nudes and reds, they have a lipstick, gloss and pencil in them x

I don't think it's possible to recommend d colours for others. I prefer a satin finish to matt (for my lips anyway). I like Clinique and Estee Lauder best.

Bobbi Brown Nude. It doesn't look it.

MAC velvet teddy. Yes to lip liner. Always!

Clarins lip perfector - I think the shade is toffee

Also Bobbi Brown lip palette I've had for years - lots of good nudes and creamy pinkish browns

Benefit in red. It says it's a balm, but it's more like a lovely, moisturising lipstick and has decent staying power too.

I love this formula but I use the colour Barbara!

Lipsticks are so personal I think. A shade may look amazing on someone else but doesn't suit you. I really like pillow talk, it's a recent purchase and thought it would wash me out but it's very flattering. Also just bought Mac faux which is a new favourite I think. It's a mauvy nude and looks fab. I think my skin tone is neutral.

JK Magic and Runway Royalty by Charlotte Tilbury. Absolute favs. I don’t often wear lip liner because I don’t really get away with a heavier make up look and try to keep things softer so I just do the lipstick. However I have the pillowtalk lipliner and it seems to just go with everything!

or MAC liner in Boldly Bare if I want a pinky orange tones or MAC liner in stripped down if I want more brown nude.

for a cheapy I recently bought an ELF lip filler liner in a lovely nudey pink, it was about 6£ and looks great day to day with some balm. It actually does make my lips look fuller too.

agree with PP above, the NYX cremes are nice for day to day too

Revlon do dozens of lovely reds and nudes. Gorgeous quality and texture. They're on eBay for less than £4 each

Mac Vegas Volt is my go to shade at the moment. I find that choosing a lipstick that suits me is tricky as most seem to be for cool toned skin while I’m warm toned.

I also like Mac’s Runway Hit, Mull It Over, Sheer Outrage and Stay Curious.

Mac Chilli is a good one.

Twig and Faux both make me look a bit dead.
