Styling very fine, medium hair for a wedding

My fine hair so very temperamental in looks the best simply blow dried straight is with a revlon one step but feel that is a bit dull.

It's sort of armpit length.

Braids don't shown or slip out. Curls look ratty quickly. There isn't enough hair for most styles and most hair decorations slip out as hair is fine.

Does anyone have any tips or ideas.

How do you style hair for a wedding?
Is a nice blow dry ok?
