If I love YSL black opium perfume, what else will I like?

I've been wearing YSL black opium for years but fancy a change! I don't like sweet or fruity scents, much prefer the warmer coffee and vanilla scents.

If you like black opium what else do you like?

I see Mugler Alien is popular but the top notes are jasmine, is that floral? I'm clueless!

YSL Cinema is a favourite of mine. Not very similar to Opium but very heavy. I also love Alien and yes jasmine is floral.

My favourite is Molecule 01. Alien is nice too but I seem to have gone off it a bit.

I wear black opium, also love Givenchy Ang ou Demon, and Armani Si Passione.

Next on my list is Lancome La Nuit Tresor

I'm not much of a perfume wearer, but I also don't like sickly or floral. I love Shay and Blue's Black Tulip. It's sort of spicy, and chocolaty.

Voulez Vous by Shay and Blue might be worth a try: a strong coffee note with florals and quite easy to wear.

If you want to be more daring, Civet by Zoologist has a coffee note, and is a really beautiful, old school chypre with a massively complex list of notes and a very definite vintage vibe. It's expensive, but really, really strong: you only need one spray and it'll last 16+ hours: it's an extrait de parfum, so very potent. It's actually my favourite perfume, but I do love Black Opium as well: the Extreme version (the one with the glittery bottle) is my particular favourite

I adore Black opium. I also completely love Molecule 01, give it a try if you haven't! I have been disappointed with every single limited edition or variation, so don't be convinced to try! Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche is completely different but I wear it all summer and Black O all winter.

All have that sweet spice that's not too heavy.

Maybe try Libre, there is a kind of DNA to YSL I think.

I passed the Estee Lauder counter last month and tried on their new premium scent. There's a range of six fragrances and my favourite is Desert Eden, which is a rose mixed with oud. So it's quite heavy and musky rather than floral.

I love Black Opium and also love Gucci Rush and Lancôme - Tresor

One of my old old favourites was Samsara.

@FindingMeno Samasara is my all time favourite. Sadly, I can't wear it anymore as it reminds me too much of my late sister who also wore it. So many memories and such a beautiful scent. I'll probably cry buckets wearing it again!
