Cotton shorts for women that aren't short-shirt

Hi, I am looking for some decent length cotton shorts for summer holiday. Couldn't find any in local city centre that were cotton or of a decent length. Google throws up a few but not sure of quality. Any recommendations really appreciated please :)

When I couldn't find any for my dd1 years ago, I got some boy's ones that looked really nice.

Otherwise, for longer length can you get denim ones? Or cut an old pair of trousers down and then turn up once or twice above the knee?

If you are size 16 or above then these, assuming you are looking for a casual pair rather than chino style. I love these shorts - lightweight cotton, stretch, good length, pockets.

I've seen decent quality Bermuda denim shorts in both Asda and Sainsburys this week.
I'm wearing a Sainsburys pair right now that I bought 5 years ago!

You can get knee length or about half way up your thigh shorts. I've got two pairs in each length and I really like them. Some of them are still on sale, or they were when I last looked.

i ordered some recently from Mistral - but they sent the wrong size and I can’t get a response from them to organise a return / replacement.

Hey, I have figured the decent length ones are called Bermudas here, H&M, M&S have a few good ones. I also would look at Decathalon, bought Quechua brand shorts about 5 years ago and is a blessing in this heat!
