Kaftan Ankle or Floor Length Which Works Best?

I'm about to order this kaftan. Length is 153 cm which is floor length. They will make it shorter to around 140 cm. I'm 5' 9" size 8/10 in dresses. I will size down as I don't want it too big. I'm thinking ankle length will be more practical? Thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

I agree that ankle length will be more practical. Have you double checked all the measurements as the model has sized up?

Thanks, floor length definitely seems too long. I emailed and they advised size small would work if I didn't want it to be too oversized.
