How to protect white canvas sneakers from dirt?

I am already feeling I'm going to regret this purchase... Just wondering how to protect white canvas trainers from getting filthy. Washing machine will be last resort as they might shrink.

I buy a waterproofing spray, take the laces out and give them a good coating. Makes them waterproof and less likely to get stained. I also throw them in the wash and each time I do I re apply the waterproof spray.

I waterproof sprayed mine, but its not worked. They are still mucky round the toes. I think if you choose white, you just have to accept they aren't going to look box fresh for very long at all (half a day in my case).

Carry a packet of baby wipes with you and clean at every opportunity or at least that's what my kids do with theirs.

Crep Protect spray

You can't really , just wear them and get new ones when they are ruined 🤷‍♀️

Keep them in the box.
Wear something else.
