Okay cut the snurks - permatrend my arse! But I lurve my Uggs and desire another pair - maybe brown with lace-ups and dangly bits. My bro lives in Seattle so I could get him to send some over. Would it be worth it? What are they going for in the States and would postage be ridiculous? Ta muchly...

I keep trying to stop wearing mine as I know they look ugly and DH keeps moaning about them, but they are just soo lovely to wear, I lurve them. They so are outdoor slippers! I got brown ones on ebay and someone sent them over direct from Australia, they were only about 80 quid including postage. Dont know about American prices for them sorry, but they originate from Aus so presumably cheaper there??

I didn't actually see any uggs in america. I bought some very similar by bearpaw - they are real sheepskin too, and very reasonably priced. their site is here

omg they look like those wellies that ppl used to have when I was a kid, with the toggle to tighten them up!

SabaSaba · 21/01/2008 14:21

If its ugg australia boots that you want, they come from the states ( & most are now made in china ). You can get great sheepskin uggs from australia though. When working out to get the boots sent from the states, remember its not just postage but customs fees, you get charged - they are quite strict on this now. Probably still cheaper, but you need to check.

ds has such a similar pair of wellies! and they are a bit like moon boots too, which I love!

am tempted..at least they are sodding waterproof
