Style of dress to hide a large Belly.

I'm going to a funeral (Mil) and need a dress.
I'm a size 18. 5ft tall. Small bust but lobsided due to breast cancer.
Prefer a knee length.
How do I hide my tummy or should I just wear the tightest shape wear I can get on.

Trousers and a top are often easier to wear if you're uncomfortable with your middle.

Wear something slightly loose if it makes you more comfortable. Shapewear can be good, but can also be uncomfortable which is the last thing you need for a funeral.

I have a big stomach (pcos) and A line or fit and flare type dresses work for me.

I have several variations of this dress. I'm 5ft 1 and a size 18 too and I often get told these dresses are very slimming on me. They do it also in a dark navy which might be more suitable for a funeral. If you prefer black, you can dye it.

I wear the dresses with smart wedges or (less formally), sparkly flip flops.

Sorry pressed post too soon, but I agree with the above post, trousers and a top can feel more flattering.

And I am sorry for your loss, ultimately wear something that makes you comfortable so you aren't thinking about your clothes all the time so you can concentrate of saying your goodbyes/supporting family members/holding yourself together etc

I think cocoon shape is always good, narrow shoulders, narrow hem and it just flares around the tummy area - this dress in the black crepe is a classic and 37.5 inches long, which would be knee length on you
