New York and Orlando wardrobe?

We are going to New York for few days around Halloween. Can anyone advise me what the weather is normally like around then? Is it jeans and raincoat weather or lighter? I've been there numerous times but always during their hot and sticky summers! We are then going to Orlando for 5 nights. I presume it will be light clothes for Florida? Obviously don't want to over pack but am wondering if it will be very different temperatures in New York and Orlando? Can anyone advice me please??

Deff jeans, warm jumper, jacket type of dressing for New York. Lighter clothes for Orlando. Keep a cardigan or hoody just in case. Enjoy your vacation.

Also in Orlando you should have access to laundry.

My standard tourist outfit would be 3/4 length trousers with a vest and linen shirt.

Jeans, t shirt and jumper in NYC with a waterproof,jacket. Keep an eye on the forecast closer to the time though as it is changeable. Orlando, shorts and t shirt.

Thanks all for your suggestions. So looks like I will need to pack for 2 different seasons. Will probably wear jeans travelling to NY, as they'll be heavy and take up suitcase space. I can also wear them when leaving Orlando for home. It will also be a good excuse to go shopping in the Designer Outlets in Orlando 😄
