Help! Bad haircut and what has happened at back?

Hi,

I go to a top salon and I have had a hair disaster with my regular stylist. What is all of this at the back? I don’t colour it but it’s going to grow into a nightmare in a few weeks.

What can I do? Will go back this week to try and get it fixed. Can it be squared off?

It might be cut straight but your hair curls up and under so it doesn’t sit straight.

Wet it/mousse it and brush it down and take a photo when wet to see if it is the cut.

I said don’t cut it too short… It’s wispy and it’s definitely not cut straight. I did dry it downwards and have put products on but it keeps separating and looks scrappy. I brushed it down for the photo.

I definitely wouldn't call it a bad haircut. I think your problem is that you asked her to leave it too long.

I honestly didn’t ask her to leave it long. I said don’t cut too short especially at the back and I have no idea where those wispy bits have come from?

If I ask him to straighten up at the back by my neck is that going to make a bad thing worse?
