It's ok the colour is great. Will look good just for this year(which is a shame as it's cashmere) I reckon as the waistline will undoubtably change again and perhaps we'll be wearing really thin belts around our necks. They've not had that for a while have they?

prettybird · 18/01/2008 13:23

It will look great on you nailpolish

And what do you mean "spring like"? We've still got months of winter weather left! It doesn't even get properly cold on the East Coast until Febraury!

nailpolish · 18/01/2008 13:26

i dont follow fashion religiously

its better to wear what suits you and fashionable to an extent

imo

nailpolish · 18/01/2008 13:26

uch pb im trying to be springlike!
fed up o wintertime

OP posts:
NomDePlume · 18/01/2008 13:27

cut not for me but if you like it and you'll wear it then imo £60 is a bargain

Cappuccino · 18/01/2008 13:47

yes but you will be able to take off the uber-fashionable leather belt surely for next year

and then it is just a chic little red coat

the gloves thing is sad because the first pair dh brought were too small, and I wasn't well enough to go back and swop them myself, so he brought me bigger ones. But he went up a size too far at least

and I put them on for one of my convalescent walks and by the end of it thought, oh dear, these are massive

but then they were all wet and unswoppable

nailpolish · 18/01/2008 13:51

uch capp that is a shame

ComeOVeneer · 18/01/2008 13:53

ComeOVeneer · 18/01/2008 13:56

This

Cappuccino · 18/01/2008 13:57

oh dear I would never be able to pull that off

hats off to you CoV

nailpolish · 18/01/2008 13:58

comovenner are you tall

that coat is nice, i saw that one too

but would llok daft on me!

OP posts:
Cappuccino · 18/01/2008 13:59

ah yes tall, it makes all the difference

I would look like a little woman who had fallen into a box of buttons

ComeOVeneer · 18/01/2008 14:28

5ft 6 but I always wear heels so seem a bit taller.

tictacto · 18/01/2008 14:41

Oh crikey. That is some coat. You'll have to post a pic of you wearing it. I'm not to keen on the catalogue pic but that doesn't mean anything really.
